Terms and responsibility
This page describes what Siktum is intended for, how data is handled, and what the analysis is and is not. Full agreements, including a data processing agreement, are signed with every client.
Purpose of the tool
Siktum is built to give insight into an organisation and its business: into decisions that have been made, that are under way and that lie ahead. The result is a support for teams, boards and those who lead. It is not an answer key, and it does not replace judgement.
No assessment of individuals
The analysis must not be used against any individual who took part. It must not form the basis for decisions on recruitment, promotion, reassignment, dismissal or pay. What was written must not be held against the person or people who wrote it. The group or the organisation is the unit. Never the individual.
Anonymity
The engine can be configured to be fully anonymous, collecting no personal data from participants: no email, no phone number, no information about device or operating system, and no IP address stored alongside the answers. Which mode applies is agreed with the client before collection begins.
Storage and deletion
Client data is stored on a server within the EU. The protection is access control. The data is not encrypted at rest. The retention period is agreed with the client. Unless otherwise agreed, all material is completely deleted from the server 30 days after the session.
What the analysis is
The analysis is a direct reading of what was written. It is not a mirror of the client's actual situation. It cannot distinguish between what is, what participants believe, and what was once true but is merely passed on. Conclusions and decisions are the client's. Results of the analysis cannot be asserted against Siktum or Center Point AB.
On AI
The analysis is produced with the help of a language model. However clear we want the engine to be, it can in rare cases write something that does not hold together, or that is linguistically wrong. We fix such things when we find them, but we cannot be held responsible for them. Read the result with judgement, and get in touch when something looks wrong.
